„Die Situation von Migrant*innen in Sizilien“

Der Sizilienbericht von borderline-europe gibt einen umfassenden Überblick über die Situation von Migrant*innen in Sizilien. Gegliedert in fünf Kapitel liegen die Schwerpunkte nebst der Situation der Migrant*innen nach ihrer Ankunft in Sizilien auch auf der Siutation im Mittelmeer und verdeutlicht anhand von Beispielen aktueller Ereignisse, wie einerseits private Seenotrettungsorganisationen zurückgedrängt und andererseits die politischen Beziehungen zu Libyen gestärkt, illegale Push-Backs geduldet und die Externalisierung der Grenzen vorangetrieben wird. Eine detaillierte Momentaufnahme einer sich in stetigem Wandel befindenden Thematik.

Bridges instead of walls - strategies against the stigmatisation of refugees

With the project "Bridges instead of walls - strategies against the stigmatization of refugees" our aim is to stand up in solidarity against the discrimination of people based on their origin. The project will be carried out between October 2017 and March 2019 in cooperation with the partners borderline-europe - Human Rights Without Borders e.V. in Germany, Borderline Sicilia in Italy and Asyl in Not in Austria.

Mosaik Support Center For Refugees And Locals

Mosaik Support Center is a community space in the heart of Mytilene, the capital of the Greek island of Lesbos. It is focused on providing conditions for local integration of refugees living on Lesbos. The Mosaik Support Center offers educational services, legal and social support, and creative and physical activities. Coursework includes Greek, English, Arabic, Farsi, and other language classes; a Legal Service Center; and creative activities. With a framework of cultural and educational exchange in place, we hope to facilitate the social and economic integration process for refugees.
