Abandoned in the cold
The situation of refugees in and around Lipa in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina is life-threatening:
"They are trying to find a place to sleep somewhere, to survive somehow. Hundreds of homeless refugees are trying to survive the harsh winter in northeastern Bosnia. A disaster in front of the eyes of the EU.
"The military has come and put up some tents. But this looks like it is more a measure to calm the public in Europe than to really help the refugees. There are far too few tents, maybe 200, 300 people can be accommodated there. All the others are still on the street, don't know where to go, running through the forest, trying to sleep somewhere, to survive somehow. No one really knows how to go on."
