Thoughts and Testimonies from the Sportello Mobile

For about seven years, Arci Porco Rosso has been operating a weekly mobile counseling center in addition to its drop-in center in Palermo. This service travels to the informal settlements of western Sicily and to communities characterized by seasonal agricultural work, as well as to areas near initial reception centers, in particular to support women and families in the provinces of Palermo and Trapani.

In recent weeks, several farmworkers have lost their lives in Italy, including on their way to work or due to the precarious conditions in which many of them are forced to live.
