Ocean Viking rescues 167 people

On December 12, the Ocean Viking rescued 38 people in the Libyan Search and Rescue Zone, and on December 14, an additional 129 in the Ionian Sea, including many women and children; despite urgent medical cases, Italian authorities assigned Ravenna, a distant port, as the place of safety. read more
