The story of Moussa Diarra, a common story

Moussa Diarra, a 26-year-old migrant from Mali, was fatally shot by a railway police officer in Verona, Italy, in controversial circumstances that are currently under investigation. Diarra fled the civil war in Mali in 2016 and endured harsh conditions in Libyan detention centres before reaching Italy. Although he was granted temporary humanitarian protection in 2017, he faced years of bureaucratic delays, leaving him in a state of constant insecurity.
