Italy signs economic agreement with Libya to "combat" migration

Italy and Libya signed a series of investment and infrastructure agreements on 29 October at the Italy-Libya Forum in Tripoli after a ten-year hiatus. The agreements are aimed at supporting the Libyan economy through the return of ITA Airways and other infrastructure projects, as well as encouraging foreign investment in Africa. The fight against migration was also on the agenda. read more
