Faeser calls for reform of the EU asylum system

According to Federal Interior Minister Faeser, the Schengen Agreement is in danger if there is no reform of the asylum system in the EU in the next few months. At a press conference with her Austrian counterpart Karner, the SPD politician said that in view of the growing immigration she hoped for joint decisions at the meeting of European interior ministers in Luxembourg on 8 June.
