"Dismantle the rescue facilities or we will arrest you" - the Italian government's threat against the Mare Jonio

In its effort to obstruct and block civilian rescue ships, the Italian government has taken another negative step in the last few hours: the authorities have ordered the owner of our MARE JONIO to "remove from the ship, before departure, the equipment and supplies on board for the performance of the rescue service".
