Bottlenecks in the accommodation of asylum seekers

Berlin is facing a bottleneck in the accommodation of refugees. The reason for this is the refusal of the other federal states to accept further asylum seekers. Usually, the EASY distribution system regulates the distribution of all asylum seekers to all federal states. With the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, many federal states have dropped out of the system.
