I cadaveri di 18 immigrati sono stati recuperati da motovedette della Guardia costiera che, con l’intervento anche della nave «Etna» della Marina militare, hanno soccorso altri 76 profughi che viaggiavano su un gommone nel Canale di Sicilia, a 40 miglia a Nord di Tripoli e 150 miglia a Sud di Lampedusa. In zona proseguono le ricerche di eventuali dispersi. Le motovedette CP302 e CP309 sbarcheranno le salme a Porto Empedocle (Agrigento). Altre due imbarcazioni cariche di extracomunitari sono state assistite in queste ore da navi della Marina. La «Driade» ha prelevato 100 persone e la «Cigala Fulgosi» altre 102. read more
