Spain: Legalizing immediate push-back is unlawful

On May 26th this year the Spanish conservative party, Partido Popular (PP), put a new amendment into force, which legalizes the automatic and collective expulsion of migrants and refugees from the borders of Ceuta and Melilla. According to a recently published report, wich was signed by more than fifteen renowned Spanish lawyers, this reform is not only contrary to the Spanish Constitution and the European law, but also against all international regulations on human rights. read more
