The Italian ports are open - thanks to Syracuse and it's mayor - immediate disembarkment for the 47 shiwrecked on board of the Sea-Watch 3. Last night, Sea-Watch 3 entered the port of Santa Pelagia Bay, north of Syracuse, without any problem and is now anchored there. Thanks to the initiative of civil society, the city of Syracuse and its mayor Francesco Italia, it is clear to all that the territorial waters and the Italian ports are not “closed” at all – as some government propaganda had repeatedly suggested in recent months like a broken record. read more
