The Sudanese government militia; Rapid Support Force (RSF); has arrested on Monday over 300 illegal immigrants heading to Libya across the remote desert of Northern State. Last June, hundreds of RSF elements have been deployed in the Northern State shortly after complaint by the governor of drug and human trafficking by the criminal networks. Earlier this year, the European Union granted a €100m development package to address the root causes of irregular migration in Sudan. The financial support came after pledge by the Sudanese government to cooperate with Brussels to stop human trafficking to Europe. In January 2014, the Sudanese parliament approved an anti-human trafficking law which punishes those involved with human trafficking with up to 20 years imprisonment. read more

Only in Chios there are 3,000 residents in three camps, barred from leaving the island without the Greek government's permission. Right-wing protesters, which reportedly included supporters of ultra-nationalist Golden Dawn party, have held anti-refugee demonstrations outside the camp in recent weeks. Das neue Arrangement der AU sieht vor, dass bis 2018 jeder Afrikaner auf dem gesamten Kontinent Visafreiheit genießt. Die Grenzkontrollen in Afrika sind in der letzten Zeit immer bürokratischer geworden. Dies erschwert den grenzüberschreitenden Handel und entfremdet Afrikaner voneinander. Mehr als die Hälfte aller afrikanischen Länder verlangt zurzeit Einreisevisa von anderen Afrikanern. read more
